Mango and watermelon salsa

Ingredients

 

- 1 fresh lime

 

- 1 green bell pepper

 

- 1/2 teaspoon fresh frying pepper

 

- 1 extra largo whole seedless watermelon

 

- 2 extra large mangos

 

- 1/4 cup red onion

 

Tortilla chips:

Prep time: 5 minutes

Cook time: 10 minutes

Total time: 15 minutes

 

Ingredients:

- Olive oil or canola oil

- Soft yellow tortillas

- Salt to taste

Instructions

 

- Wash the green bell pepper and the fresh frying

pepper and set aside.

 

- Using a sharp knife and cutting board, cut and

dice the green bell pepper. Set aside.

 

- Carefully remove the skin and slice 2 extra large mangos. Once the mango is

removed from the pit, dice into small chunks. Set aside.

 

- Carefully cut open 1 extra large seedless watermelon. Chop 1 cup worth of

watermelon into small pieces. Set aside.

 

- Chop 1/4 cup worth of red onion. Set aside.

 

- In a medium to large sized bowl, combine the diced mango, chopped watermelon,

red onion, fresh frying pepper, and the green pepper.

 

- Cut 1 lime in half. Squeeze the lime over the bowl to release the juice. Repeat with

the other half of the lime.

 

- Using a spoon or fork, mix the ingredients together until fully combined.

 

- Enjoy with homemade tortilla chips.
